NEW YORK, October 25 (Reuters) – Voters in New York state rushed to polling stations on Saturday and waited hours to cast their ballots for the November 3 presidential election on the first day advance polling.
This is the first time that this state, traditionally a Democratic stronghold where Joe Biden has a clear lead over Republican President Donald Trump in voting intentions, has allowed early voting for a presidential election.
More than 56 million Americans have already submitted their ballot for the ballot, in person or by mail, never seen before.
