“Calling an election unfair doesn’t make it unfair. Lawsuits require specific charges and then evidence,” wrote Judge Stephanos Bibas, who was appointed by Trump in late 2017. “Free and fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy.”
A Trump attorney, Jenna Ellis, has charged on Twitter the “activist judicial system in Pennsylvania” which “continues to cover up” massive fraud. According to Ellis, the case will now be taken to the Supreme Court.
Trump has insisted for weeks on widespread fraud and has talked about “stolen” elections. However, he has not yet provided any real proof.
Previously, several lawsuits from Trump and his Republican allies have been dismissed. This has already happened in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Nevada, among others.
Trump’s requested recount of the votes in the state of Wisconsin hasn’t turned a corner either. After a recount, which costs Trump $ 3 million, it turned out that Democrat Joe Biden is getting an additional 132 votes, the Washington Post reports.
Biden has now amassed 306 electors, Trump 232.
