US President Joe Biden’s dogs have had to leave the President’s residence in the White House because one of the dogs was aggressive and bitten a security service agent. The German Shepherd dogs Champion and Major have returned to the Baiden family home in Delaware.
A few months ago, when Joe Biden and his wife Jill became owners of the White House, animal friends could rejoice at the return of pets to the White House (Biden’s predecessor Donald Tramp had no pets).
But now it turns out that the life of the White House is too stressful for Major and the Champion. The three-year-old Major, who had been taken from the shelter by the Biden couple, was often agitated, roaring loudly and running on top of people.
CNN reportsthat he even bitten an agent of the presidential security service. The 13-year-old champion is calmer in nature, and he was already accustomed to life in the capital when Joe Biden was the vice president of the United States during Barack Obama’s presidency.
Donald Trump has a phobia of germs, so he avoids contact with pets. During the US presidential election campaign, dog lovers even created a promotional video calling for “people to choose wisely” so that Americans can once again enjoy their pets in the White House.
White House animals have not always had a friendly relationship, for example, President Bill Clinton’s cat Sock is constantly raging with Labrador Bady. At the end of his presidency, Clinton even joked that he had done better with Israeli-Palestinian reconciliation than with the Sock and Badia conflicts.
