Criticism of European corona approach

The US already imposed an entry ban on foreign travelers who were in China fourteen days earlier at the end of January. Similar restrictions were imposed on people who had visited Iran at the end of February.
Trump called these previous measures vital. “Now we must take the same action against Europe.”

The President has also announced a package of domestic measures. For example, he wants to provide loans to small businesses in need of the outbreak and to temporarily reduce payroll taxes. He also plans to provide financial support to employees who have become infected or who are temporarily unable to work due to quarantine.
The planned budget for this is $ 50 billion, which Congress is yet to agree to. However, this does not apply to the entry ban, which is introduced by decree.
