US Funds Experiment In Wuhan, Allegedly To Change The Corona Virus To Infect Humans

Suara.com – The latest collection of documents obtained by the United States’ leading investigative media, The Intercept, revealing that the US government has funded research corona virus from Wuhan, China. One part of the research is thought to be an experiment to change the corona virus so that it can infect humans.

The Intercept, on Tuesday (7/9/2021), reported that it had succeeded in obtaining the documents after suing the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a US government’s public health and biomedical research agency, using the public information disclosure law.

This finding reinforces the suspicion that the Sars-Cov-2 virus, the trigger of the outbreak Covid-19, indeed leaked from the laboratory, according to several interviewed scientists The Intercept.

“This is a roadmap to high-risk research that could have led us to the current pandemic,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of US Right To Know, a group that is researching the origins of Covid-19.

The document, which is more than 900 pages long, reveals that America, through the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has provided a grant to the EcoHealth Alliance, a non-profit organization in the US engaged in infectious disease research. This grant is given for the period 2014 to 2019.

The EcoHealth Alliance has received a $3.1 million grant to research coronaviruses in bats. Of that amount, as much as 599,000 dollars was channeled to Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China.

In one of the documents, it is explained that EcoHealth President Peter Daszak wants to screen thousands of bat samples for the new coronavirus. The research also screened people who worked or were close to animals.

There is some detailed information about the research in Wuhan contained in these documents. Among them is about experiments involving mice engineered to have genes, tissues, immune systems, or other parts of the human body.

The experiment was carried out in a laboratory with biosafety level 3 standards at the Wuhan University animal experiment center, not at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Allegedly this experiment aims to identify and convert the corona virus from bats so that it can infect humans.

Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist from Rutgers University, New Jersey, United States, said that these documents contain important information about research in Wuhan, including about the creation of a new corona virus.

“The viruses they created were tested for their ability to infect mice that had been engineered to have human receptors in their cells,” explains Ebright, who has read the documents.

Who is Peter Daszak?

Ebright also points out that the new documents reveal that there are two strains of the new coronavirus capable of infecting mice that contain the human receptor. The two coronaviruses are SARS and MERS.

It is important to note that Peter Daszak was one of the members of the World Health Organization (WHO) team that was sent to investigate China in January.

He and 12 other team members were in China for four weeks – two of which were confined to a hotel due to quarantine. In the investigation, the WHO team was closely monitored by Chinese researchers and was not given access to raw data that was considered important to reveal the origins of Covid-19.

World scientists, including some members of the WHO team itself, admit that the investigation in China is of little use. The reason is because most of the data they get has been prepared by the Chinese government.

The results of the WHO investigation concluded that most likely Covid-19 originated from bats which then jumped to humans, through other animals such as pangolins.

Daszak is one of the scientists who supports this theory and strongly rejects the theory of leaks from the laboratory. In several interviews with US media, he said there was no evidence that Covid-19 came from a laboratory and recommended that the search for the origin of Covid-19 be shifted to the Southeast Asian region.

At the end of August, the White House announced that 18 US intelligence agencies had failed to determine where Covid-19 came from.

The report was compiled after President Joe Biden in May ordered US intelligence agencies to investigate the origins of Covid-19. Biden gave them 90 days to investigate and compile a final report.

Biden’s order came after reports emerged that US intelligence agencies were not unanimous about Covid-19. Some institutions believe more in animal theory, while there are institutions that lean towards laboratory theory.
