US Far-Right Militia Leader Awaiting Directions from Trump NOW

A leader of a far-right militia involved in the storming of the Capitol had been “awaiting directions” from then-US President Donald Trump in the preceding days. Jessica Watson of the Oath Keepers militia has said so, according to prosecutors CNN Thursday.

The statement could be important to Trump’s trial. Democratic prosecutors will continue to provide evidence later on Thursday to show that Trump has incited his supporters to rebellion. They believe Trump should be punished for his role in the attack.

Watson says he is the leader of the Oath Keepers in the state of Ohio. She and two other members of that paramilitary group are accused by the US prosecutor of conspiracy in the violent attack on the Washington Parliament building on January 6.

Justice previously stated that the three had exchanged messages among themselves that would demonstrate that they have extensively planned and prepared the attack.

Democrats are trying to prove Trump gave instructions

On the third day of Trump’s trial, prosecutors went on to show evidence that the Capitol violent perpetrators were acting on his instructions.

Democratic Representative Diana DeGette said their statements show they acted “according to his instructions and to comply with his wishes.” They would be convinced that they cannot be punished.

Not only the Oath Keepers say they have been waiting for signals from Trump. The far-right group Proud Boys, as well as Jacob Chansley, the man who entered the Capitol in animal skin and with horns, said they had followed directions from the former president.
