US Embassy in DR maintains suspension of consular services

The United States Embassy in the Dominican Republic reported that consular services, including student visas, remain suspended.

“Currently, this closure includes all routine immigrant and non-immigrant visa services. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to process student visas for the fall semester of 2020 ”, details the statement published this Friday.

Faced with such a situation, the Embassy recommended that students communicate with their universities and educational institutions about the best way to proceed in the coming months.
