NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – Numerous skyscrapers in New York have their tips shine in the colors of the American flag on the occasion of the US presidential election. Among other things, the Empire State Building and the Bank of America skyscraper in Manhattan shone in red, white and blue on Wednesday night. On the top of the Bloomberg Tower the word “Vote” (in German about “Geh ‘select”) had been written in white illuminated letters on a blue background for several days at night.
