Uruguay does not register deaths from covid-19 in the last week of January

Montevideo, Feb 6 (EFE).- Uruguay did not register any deaths from covid-19 during the last week of January, according to the weekly report presented this Monday by the Ministry of Public Health.

The document issued by the portfolio details that between January 29 and February 4, 10,133 tests were carried out, of which 555 were positive.

According to this, the positivity was 5.5%, lower than the previous week when the studies returned 9.5%.

At this time there are 716 people who are suffering from the disease, 446 fewer than those who did so between January 22 and 28.

Regarding vaccination, according to the figures that appear this Monday on the web monitor developed by the MSP, 2,898,102 people completed their immunization regimen with two doses from the Chinese pharmaceutical companies Sinovac, the Anglo-Swedish AstraZeneca or the American Pfizer.
