Driver update via Windows update: New function should make it possible
Microsoft delivers a major update for every 6 months Windows 10 which not only contains numerous bug fixes, but primarily provides new functions or makes major changes in the user interface. The next spring update (Windows 10 20H1 or 2004) also has some surprises in store – and should make it even easier for software idlers to keep their device drivers up to date.

Microsoft partners can choose whether the driver update is a critical, dynamic or manual update. Depending on the type of update play differs. The new method of automatic driver installation is to be made available to all users of the Spring Update 2020 for Windows 10. As always, the upgrade to the new version is free of charge. If you don’t feel like it, can pause the installation of Windows updates – at least temporarily. However, there is still no exact date for the start of the update distribution.
