JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government is updating the information on the daily cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday (4/8/2020).
Based on data sourced from the Ministry of Health, there were 1,922 new cases of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19.
The data is calculated from 12.00 WIB Monday (3/8/2020) until 12.00 WIB on Tuesday.
So accumulatively there are 115,056 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.
The addition of this number was obtained from the examination of 22,802 specimens in the last 24 hours.
Based on these data, new cases of positive patient confirmation of Covid-19 are scattered in 28 provinces.
From these data, there are five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.
They are, East Java (430 new cases), DKI Jakarta (410 new cases), South Kalimantan (119 new cases), South Sulawesi (117 new cases) and West Java (94 new cases).
Meanwhile, overall Covid-19 transmission has occurred in 479 districts / cities in 34 provinces.
In addition, there are six provinces that do not exist Covid-19 new case in the last 24 hours.
The six provinces are Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan, Riau Islands, Central Sulawesi, Lampung, NTT.
Then, the government also noted that there were an additional 1,813 patients who were declared cured.
Thus, total patients recovered from Covid-19 there were 72,050 people.
In addition, there were an additional 86 patients who died after being tested positive for the corona virus.
So that the number of patients died from Covid-19 to date has been 5,388 people.
