While he had recently declared that he was preparing to spend three intensive days in front of his television to follow the fourth edition of the Laver Cup, the Swiss surprised everyone by making the trip to Boston to attend the event that ‘he created with his agency in 2017.
Even if he will not be able to play, American fans will necessarily be delighted, as will Team Europe, which will be able to benefit from weighty support.
As a reminder, the Laver Cup begins this Friday, from 7 p.m. French time, with the first two simple opponents Opelka in Ruud and Auger ‐ Aliassime in Berrettini.
