Until the first stump? Named the biggest “jamb” of the new LADA 4×4, and how to deal with it

It seems that the “Niva” has not changed, except for the interior, the statement is incorrect. AvtoVAZ engineers from LADA 4×4 made a city crossover, making a controversial change in design.

LADA 4×4, it seems, from the once “all-inclusive” “Niva” is gradually turning into a “SUV”, becoming more and more “tender”. Contrary to the opinion that the car did not undergo any global changes, except for having acquired a new modernized interior, AvtoVAZ engineers nevertheless made changes to the design.

An unpleasant “discovery” was shared by a blogger and owner of the updated LADA 4×4 on his YouTube channel “Arseny Engineer”. It turns out that the designers controversially “modified” the restyled “Niva”: they “untied” the front gearbox and simply “laid” it on the transverse stabilizer without thinking of any protection.

On the one hand, it speeds up and reduces the cost of production. On the other hand, it does not at all give the car reliability, drastically reducing the patency. After all, an important node in a fragile silumin case now “hangs” above the ground and when meeting with the first “stump” threatens to “scatter.”

Owners of the new LADA 4×4 can prevent troubles on their own by installing a protection kit. But the blogger warns that the installation of protection will “take away” about 5 cm from the ground clearance. Otherwise, leaving the city and “moving out” of asphalt in the “mud” and “gully”, you may find that the “Niva” is no longer an SUV and the “gentle” little “SUV”, only disguised as the good old “Niva” – a favorite of offroad fans.

“Not the best solution for securing RPM when untied,” “VAZ engineers transferred, there were only marketers and managers,” motorists complain about AvtoVAZ’s serious “cant”.
