Like every summer, the Place du Ralliement goes green by welcoming the winner of the competition Gardens of expression. Covid crisis requires, it is the distinguished achievement in 2019 that is in the spotlight this summer.
On the theme of “awakening the senses”, the garden imagined by four ESA students emphasizes the five senses and the way in which plants appropriate and communicate them. Composed of 4000 plants distributed in different modules, the garden thus offers a diversity of colors, textures, smells …
Annuals, perennials, grasses, shrubs, small trees but also vegetables and aromatic plants are presented. Note also the installation of a hundred plants of geraniums as part of the “pelargonium for Europe” operation, carried out in partnership with the regional horticultural office for the promotion of pelargonium.
