The CNBC Indonesia Research Team assessed that a bright spot related to US stimulus was the fuel that would encourage the strengthening of world stock markets today.

The Democrat Party and Republican Party released proposals worth US $ 908 billion, equivalent to Rp12,600 trillion (exchange rate Rp.14,000 / US $) last Monday. The Democrat Party currently controls the House of Representative (DPR) while the Republican Party controls the Senate, which is why additional stimulus continues to experience tensions.

The good news is that the majority and minority leaders in each of these “rooms” have now met and are conducting negotiations.

There are House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of the Democratic Party, House of Representatives minority chairman Kevin McCarthy of the Republican Party, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnel of the Republican Party, and Senate minority chairman Chuck Schumer of the Democratic Party.

“We will not leave here without a stimulus package. We will remain here until the stimulus package to tackle Covid-19 is reached, no matter how long it takes,” McConnell said as reported by CNBC International.
