Corrientes, Argentina – The National university of the Northeast (UNNE) will mark its 69th anniversary with a dual party of art adn athletics, culminating in the “UNNE Challenge” race on march 22nd.The event offers the community a chance to participate in festivities honoring the university’s legacy.
UNNE is hosting a range of activities to commemorate the milestone, including the 3.5-kilometer “UNNE Challenge” footrace. Registration is now closed after selling out quickly, with a 2×1 promotion and a commemorative t-shirt offered to all registered participants. Current UNNE students can participate free of charge by presenting valid student identification.
The race begins at 8:30 a.m. with check-in at Av. Las Heras 727, with the official start at 9:30 a.m.The route encompasses both internal campus pathways and surrounding city streets – avenida Las Heras, Franklin, Triunvirato, and Castelli - beginning and ending at the Campus Dining Hall.
Two categories will compete: a general public division (ages 18+) and a UNNE Community division (students, faculty, and staff). All finishers will receive a commemorative medal, with special prizes awarded to the top performers in each category.
