WWE 2K Battlegrounds brings players’ imagination to life through fast-paced action and various power-ups, special moves, unique weapons and interactive battlefields, which enhance the thrill of combat. Players can take up challenges for themselves or fight with friends and family at home, and online in a variety of cooperative and competitive modes.

Roster with over 70 names WWE Superstar, Legend and WWE Hall of Famer will be available at WWE 2K Battlegrounds at launch. Meanwhile, more than 60 additional Superstars will soon be available via free downloadable updates, including Randy Savage’s “Macho Man”, Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair and many more.

Roster of various characters will make various dream battles of players come true. Among them are Andre the Giant vs. Undertaker, Roman Reigns vs. The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. John Cena, Edge vs. AJ Styles, and more.

Players can also create custom WWE Superstars in Superstar Creator, with a variety of body types and sizes, facial features, clothes, hair and fighting styles to face all challengers. All Superstars wear one of five class styles – Powerhouse, Technician, High-Flyer, Brawler and All-Rounder – with their respective combat moves, strengths and weaknesses.

Arcade-style offensive and defensive power-ups, such as Flaming Fist, Ice Breath and Earthquake, offer an added dimension of strategy that can quickly change the course of combat.

“WWE 2K Battlegrounds marks a new chapter in our partnership with 2K,” said Sarah Cummins, WWE Senior Vice President, Consumer Products. “The combination of special arcade action, fun with friends and family, and fantasy battles between the latest WWE Superstars and WWE Legends, is sure to make WWE Universe members immerse in the excitement of every fight.”

Various game modes and match types are available in WWE 2K Battlegrounds, including King of the Battleground – an online last-man-standing mode – and Battleground Challenge, where players bring in special creations from Superstar Creators, and compete in a series of challenges to unlock skill points, develop abilities and obtain item customization.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds also features a unique single player Campaign Mode, narrated in comic book style, where players team up with Stone Cold Steve Austin and legendary manager Paul Heyman, traveling the world in search of future WWE Superstars. Multiplayer online matches bring together players from all over the world, while time-limited Online Tournaments offer prizes and various match conditions.

Energy, intensity and preparedness for surprises are the keys to glory in the world of WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Throughout the game, players can explore eight unique Battlegrounds battlefields that contain interactive elements and special melee weapons, such as motorbikes and toy hammers for hitting opponents.

Players will anger their opponents in the Auto Shop by throwing explosive barrels, and throwing cars at their heads. The action gets hotter on the Everglades as players throw their opponents into the mouths of hungry crocodiles!

Players can also set their own arenas to give each battle a personal touch. To enhance the atmosphere, detailed commentary was provided by commentator Mauro Ranallo – who made his debut in the WWE 2K game – and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, each with their own unique and passionate styles.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is available in two formats: Standard Edition (Rp.560,000.00) and Digital Deluxe Edition (Rp.779,000.00). Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the WWE Edge Hall of Famer; all versions of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and Ronda Rousey that will be available early in the game; bonus 1100 Golden Bucks, an in-game currency that can be used to unlock Superstars and supplementary items.
