University of Sharjah Signs MOUs with Russian Universities and Associations

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, witnessed yesterday morning, in the residence of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, the University of Sharjah signing a number of memorandums of understanding with Russian universities.
The Russian universities with which the University of Sharjah signed memorandums of understanding included Moscow State Universities of Lomonosov, Sechenov Medical University, and State Adygea Universities.
The memorandums were signed by: Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Rector of the University of Sharjah, Dr. Viktor Antonovich Sandovinci, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Dr. Peter Glubashko, Rector of Sechenov Medical University, and Dr. Daoud Mami, Rector of Adygea State University.
The areas of cooperation between the parties to the memorandum extend to include all activities and programs that enhance and develop relations between universities, including cooperation in the field of exchange of faculty members, researchers and employees, exchange of students and alumni, exchange of academic programs, cooperation in the field of joint supervision of master’s and doctoral students, and the organization of activities Joint research and grant making.
Areas of cooperation include the establishment of joint academic degrees and special academic programmes, cooperation in e-learning programs, consulting, training, education, learning and curriculum development, organizing joint international workshops, conferences and seminars, exchanging academic and scientific materials and institutional data for joint strategic comparison, and exchanging institutional information on the media. and journalism and public communications. His Highness the President of the University of Sharjah also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Association of Arab Universities and the Association of Russian Universities related to strengthening cooperation between the two federations in academic exchange, facilitating academic credits between Arab and Russian universities, developing joint academic programs, and enhancing cooperation in the field of digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications. . The memorandum was signed by Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, and Dr. Victor Antonovich Sandovinci, President of the Association of Russian Universities.
