University of florida’s Hamilton School Seeks Faculty to Shape Future Leaders
GAINESVILLE, FL – The University of Florida‘s Hamilton School for Classical and Civic Education is seeking up to three distinguished scholars to join its growing faculty, beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year.This is a unique possibility to contribute to a new, multidisciplinary program dedicated to exploring the foundations of Western civilization and American ideals.
Established in 2022, the Hamilton School is rapidly establishing itself as a vital center for teaching and research. Currently offering two undergraduate degrees,the School anticipates expanding its offerings to include two additional undergraduate and two graduate programs by Fall 2026.
The School welcomes applications from candidates across a range of disciplines, prioritizing those who can contribute to its four undergraduate degree programs: Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Law; Grate Books and ideas; War, Statecraft & Strategy; and American Government, History, Literature & Law. A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree is required.
“We are building a program designed to cultivate thoughtful, engaged citizens equipped to navigate the complex challenges of the 21st century,” said a Hamilton School representative. “We seek faculty who share
