Collaborative robotics is one of the indispensable technologies in the transformation towards industry 4.0, which aims at the complete automation of all industrial production processes. This has been demonstrated by Universal Robots, a world leader in the manufacture of collaborative robots, which, with the implementation of its technology, has made it possible for many companies, especially small and medium-sized companies, to automate tasks that they thought were too expensive or complex.

And all this, thanks to the certified integration centers that have contributed and contribute with their dedication to making this automation process possible in Spanish industry. To make them known, in recognition of their work and to highlight the made in Spain seal on this path towards Industry 4.0, the firm launches the CSI campaign Integrating cobots in Spanish industry. Get inspired!

As part of this campaign, Universal Robots publishes the ebook “Discovering Universal Robots integrators”, a collection of success stories featuring six of the leading engineering companies in Spain to help companies automate their processes: WECOBOTS, Emenasa , Nutai, CADE Cobots, M&C Aplicaciones and Neobotik. In this way, the Danish firm unveils six of the most innovative applications of Spanish collaborative robotics that have been carried out in six companies from various sectors to provide effective solutions adapted to their needs: placement of brake discs, control quality of motors, feeding of machining centers, application of mastic, depalletizing of empty containers and palletizing of snack boxes.

In addition, the firm’s website allocates a special section with documentation and videos in which these cases are explained.

An educational and inspiring journey

This initiative of Universal Robots proposes a trip through the Spanish geography to know, from the hand of these six certified integration centers of the firm, all the work behind a collaborative installation in sectors as diverse as food or the automotive industry. A journey that reveals amazing collaborative applications and the existence of exciting projects aimed at bringing the benefits of collaborative robotics to all corners with creativity, passion, know-how and knowledge of the sectors for which these integrators work every day.
