United States: State Department spokesman Price commemorated 33 Turkish soldiers who were martyred last year in Idleb

Ned Price, spokesman for the United States Department of Foreign Affairs, commemorated the 33 Turkish soldiers who were martyred last year in the air raid by the Bashar al-Assad regime in Idlib, in Syria.

“A year ago, 33 Turkish soldiers lost their lives in Idlib protecting innocent Syrian civilians from the brutality of the Assad regime and its Russian and Iranian backers. We salute their memories and sacrifices and express our solidarity with Turkey, our NATO ally, ”he wrote.

33 Turkish soldiers were martyred in the Idlib region of Syria on February 27, 2020 following the air attack by regime forces.
