The whole world is waiting for a vaccine to protect themselves from the coronavirus. It therefore needed a campaign (started in May), a summit and a concert to unite and tackle global injustices and stop COVID-19 for the benefit of all.
Planetary stars have responded to this call and will help raise funds for medical research. Coldplay, Shakira, Myley Cyrus, Usher, Justin Bieber or Christine & The Queens will be the headliners of a large virtual concert this Saturday.
The artists and other speakers (David Beckham, Salma Hayek, Charlize Theron, Forest Whitaker, Angélique Kidjo, etc.) answer the call Unite For Our Future (United for our future) from the European Commission and the NGO Global Citizen which calls on citizens to unite and fight the immense injustices our world faces, therefore for equitable access to the future vaccine.
The event will be broadcast on Canal + group channels but also on social networks and digital platforms of the European Commission and the Global Goal Unite site. Donors’ conference to be held at the same time as this concert
