On the occasion of Bulgaria’s Independence Day, 22 September 2022, the colors of the Bulgarian flag illuminated the tallest building in Italy: the skyscraper of the UniCredit bank in Milan. The event is the result of the collaboration between the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Milan and “Unicredit Italia”.
For the second time, the 231-meter-high skyscraper is lit with the Bulgarian flag on the occasion of our national holiday. The debut was in 2019, but due to the pandemic this symbolic gesture was not carried out for the next two years.
