Unexpected! This is the motive for the shooting of the textile boss’s car in Solo

The police are still investigating the case the shooting of the car in which a textile factory boss was boarding I (72) in the City Solo, Central Java. The motive behind the cowboy action turns out to be business-related.

“While the motive is a business relationship, we are still investigating, the investigation continues,” said the Head of Solo Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak when met by reporters at Loji Gandrung, Solo City, Thursday (3/12/2020).

Ade explained that the perpetrator with the initials LJ (72) was the victim’s brother-in-law. It has not been disclosed in detail what kind of relationship between the two resulted in the shooting.

“The suspect’s wife is the victim’s sister,” said Ade.

As previously reported, the shooting took place on Jalan Monginsidi, Banjarsari, Solo City, on Wednesday (2/12) at around 12.00 WIB. Initially, victim I and her driver were leaving the house for lunch.

But on the way, car I was stopped by the perpetrator and his wife. The perpetrator and his wife then got into the victim’s car and asked to be delivered to the swallow nest house on Jalan Monginsidi, Solo City. The swallow nest house belongs to the perpetrator.

After arriving at the location, the perpetrator then got out of the car. The perpetrator had asked the victim to come down. But the victim refused.

“The driver saw bad signs from the perpetrator LJ. The perpetrator was carrying a firearm tucked in his front pants. The driver immediately turned around,” said Ade.

The victim then left the location while the perpetrator continued shooting at the victim’s car. The victim then secured himself by entering the Mobile Brigade Command Center Detachment C Pelopor which was not far from the swallow nest.

“Because the perpetrator was carrying a firearm, the Police, backed by Brimob, chased the perpetrator. At 14:25 WIB, the perpetrator was caught at a bus station in Karanganyar,” he said
