A new lot on the Transylvania Highway could be completed in early December, along with a 4.5-kilometer access road.

CNAIR signed on May 29, 2020 the contract for the execution of the Târgu Mureş – Ungheni lot from Transilvania Highway with the constructor Strabag, and the order to start the works was given on July 22, 2020. According to the contract, the execution period was set at 18 months, at the beginning of the year 2022.
