under what conditions Ukrainians cannot go to the military registration and enlistment office when they receive a summons – UNIAN

We emphasize that these reasons must be confirmed by relevant documents or certificates.

In Ukraine, the government has significantly reduced the list of reasons why citizens cannot be present in the recruitment and social support centers on the agenda (military registration and enlistment offices) during mobilization.

The decision was approved Government No. 1108 of 30 September.

Therefore, according to the decision of the Council of Ministers, valid reasons are recognized for the non-arrival or delayed arrival of a payer of military service or a reservist to convene training at a point within the prescribed period:

  • sickness or the need to care for a sick wife (husband), child, as well as his or her parents or wife (husband) living with a person obliged to military service or a reservist, if it is impossible to take care of other close relatives for the sick;
  • the execution of criminal proceedings against a debtor of military service or a reservoir, as well as the imposition of an administrative or criminal sanction against him, which makes it impossible to arrive.

We emphasize that these reasons must be confirmed by relevant documents or certificates.

Recall that previously the list of valid reasons included the impact of an emergency situation that arose during the training call and prevented timely arrival, passing state exams at higher education institutions or another significant circumstance which did not allow the conscript to arrive at the TCC on time.
