Al-Marsad newspaper: Egyptian investigative authorities have renewed the detention of Berlanty Amer, the wife of popular singer Saad Al-Saghir, for 15 days, accusing her of being drunk, resisting the policemen and insulting her while demanding to reveal her identity in the area of the Haram.
The details of the incident date back, according to the Cairo 24 website, to when the Giza Help Room received a communication from a property guard in the Haram area, stating that a woman had passed out inside a car of the area, and immediately the security forces went to the place of communication.
The examination found that the woman was in a state of derangement, and she was taken to the hospital, and conducting a medical examination on her, it was found that she was drunk, and during her transfer to the hospital, the security forces they resisted and verbally assaulted them, which forced them to draw up a report of the incident, and to refer it to the investigating authorities, who decided to jail the accused. 4 days waiting for the investigation, then she was presented to the judge of opposition, which ordered the renewal of her detention for 15 days pending the case, accusing her of resisting the authorities and of being drunk.
