As a result of the civil war in Syria, which began more than ten years ago, at least 350,209 people died. Such updated statistics were provided on Friday, September 24, in Geneva by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet.

At the same time, according to her, we are talking only about those whose names and dates of death could be established. In addition, it is known in which provinces these persons died. Thus, real death toll should be much higher, the UN commissioner stated.-
