Tragedy happened during bridge repair

The State Labor Inspectorate was informed about the tragedy; the case is under the control of the local prosecutor’s office.

In Poland, a 39-year-old Ukrainian citizen was killed while working on a railway bridge, crushed by a hydraulic jack, TVP.INFO reports.

The tragedy took place on June 3 in the inhabited town of Wronki in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.

“The witnesses are being questioned. According to preliminary estimates, there was an accident,” said Sandra Khuda, a spokeswoman for the police in the city of Shamotuly.

According to her, the police are establishing the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
