[キーウ 2日 ロイター] – Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament) on the 2nd reacted to US businessman Elon Musk’s comments about President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s repeated calls for military aid from Western countries to counter Russian aggression.
On the 2nd, Mr. Musk posted a meme of Mr. Zelensky on X (formerly Twitter). He captioned his image, “When you haven’t asked for $1 billion in aid in 5 minutes.”
In response, Ukrainian parliament speaker Stefanchuk wrote on X: “(Musk) tried to conquer space, but it didn’t work and after 5 minutes he was in trouble.” He appeared to be referring to the failed rocket launch in April by his space company SpaceX.
Ukraine’s parliament also accused Musk of spreading Russian propaganda on X’s official page. He posted a meme with an image of Musk and the caption, “When you’re not spreading Russian propaganda in 5 minutes.”
