NASAMS is expected to be among the next batch of heavy weapons that the US has approved for transfer to Ukraine.
According to National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, the US is in the process of finalizing an aid package that includes advanced medium-to-long-range air defenses for Ukrainians, along with some other items that are urgently needed.
