The vehicles are equipped with modern satellite transmitters, loudspeakers, digital communication systems, electric winches and emergency floating equipment.

Two H-125 helicopters manufactured by the French company Airbus Helicopters arrived in Kiev. They will be supplied to the aviation units of the State Border Service, which will serve on the border with Belarus, informs Ministry of Internal Affairs November 20.

The helicopters are equipped with modern satellite transmitters, loudspeakers, digital communication systems, electric winches and emergency floating equipment.

They are also equipped with Flir high-resolution cameras and specialized aviation searchlights, which will allow you to control the borders of Ukraine day and night, said Deputy Interior Minister Sergei Goncharov. Video from cameras can be directly transmitted to the ground command post.

“The experience of the first two light helicopters received in 2020 has shown the efficiency and effectiveness of their use in order to protect the state border (the total flight time of the first two aircraft is about 900 hours),” the ministry said.

The N-125 is considered one of the best helicopters in its class. In 2005, he broke a world record and landed on Mount Everest at 8,850 meters above sea level.

Ukraine receives them within the framework of an agreement with France on the creation of a Unified System of Aviation Security and Civil Protection. The Ministry of Internal Affairs signed a corresponding contract with Airbus Helicopters in August 2018. According to him, 24 helicopters of this type should be delivered to Ukraine.
