Ukraine introduced emergency mode due to coronavirus

Ukraine is introducing an emergency (emergency) regime throughout the country due to the spread of coronavirus, TASS reports. The regime will be valid for 30 days.

By March 25, the emergency mode was operating in Kiev and eight regions, including Kiev, Lviv, and Kharkiv regions. The last time an emergency at the regional level was introduced on March 23, the list included Donetsk, Ternopil and Cherkasy regions. Earlier, on March 25, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal announced his intention to introduce an emergency mode throughout Ukraine. Quarantine measures in regions in which the emergency mode has already been in force are extended for 30 days.

The diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 113 people, four of whom died died, according to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The total number of cases in the world exceeded 372,000, deaths – more than 16,200, the World Health Organization reported by March 24.
