Ukraine calls urgent meeting of UN Security Council due to Russian “pseudo-referend” – AMF

As reported by UNIAN, Russian occupiers scheduled from 23 to 27 September to hold pseudo-referendums in the captured parts of the Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Luhansk regions with the aim of entering the Russian Federation.

The international community has condemned these intentions of the Kremlin. In particular, the G7 countries and the European Union announced that they would impose sanctions on the Russian Federation for the organization of pseudo-referendums on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.

On 23 September, the head of the OVA in Luhansk, Serhiy Gaidai, said that the “voting” in the “referendum” had already begun in the region – armed Russians and their accomplices were walking through the apartments of local residents, threatening to collapse. the door to those who would not open them.

The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, previously said that armed Russian invaders, along with collaborators, go to the homes of local residents in the occupied city. Frightened people are told where the vote is “correct” to put a sign.

To participate in a fake referendum, the Russians bring people from Crimea to the occupied territory of the Kherson region.

Today, September 24, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that in the so-called “referendum” in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russian troops, there is a low turnout at the “polling stations”. For this, signatures are collected from local residents at home, accompanied by armed Russian occupiers.
