UK Writes ‘Occupied Palestinian Territories’ on Passport, Not Jerusalem

LONDON – A dual citizen English – Israel it was written on his passport that his birthplace was “Occupied Palestinian Territories” after he renewed his British passport.

On its website, the British government says, “It has withheld recognition of sovereignty over Jerusalem pending a final decision on its status. We recognize Israel’s de facto authority over West Jerusalem. In line with Security Council Resolution 242 (1967) and subsequent Council resolutions, we consider East Jerusalem to be under Israeli occupation.”
