The plane is having problems

A bird hit the nose of the plane, and the commander asked the airport for a return and an emergency landing.

The flight from Kharkiv to Turkey of Ukraine International Airlines on Sunday, June 27, was forced to return to the airport because of a bird, reported the press secretary of Kharkiv International Airport Alina Pecheritsa.

According to her, the UIA Boeing 737 with passengers on board was supposed to fly from Kharkov to Bodrum, Turkey at 04:00, however, due to a thunderstorm, the flight was postponed for almost 2 hours.

“The plane took off again at about 06:00 and for an hour the flight proceeded calmly. But a bird hit the nose of the plane, and the commander asked the airport for a return and a forced landing,” Pecheritsa said.

The plane was examined at the airport. The aircraft was in perfect order and the plane again flew to Turkish Bodrum at 13:11 and landed there 3 hours later.

Due to the thunderstorm, there were problems with the departure of a group of tourists from Kharkov to Turkey by a SkyUp aircraft.

Recall that at the Boryspil airport on Sunday, June 20, dozens of passengers could not get on their flights due to queues at UIA registration desks.
