YOGYAKARTA, iNews.id – Group lecturer Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Fapet) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) had an accident at Tol Cipali KM 113, West Java, Thursday (4/11/2021) early morning. As a result of this accident the Dean of Fapet, Prof. I Gede Suparta Budisatria died, while the driver and two other passengers were injured.
UGM Head of Public Relations, Iva Ariani, confirmed the sad news that befell the group of UGM Faculty of Animal Science lecturers. However, the campus has not yet received detailed information on the chronology of this accident.
“That’s true, sir, but our information is still minimal,” said Iva, Thursday (11/4/2021).
Information circulating, this group was in one car. Prof. Gede is in the front seat next to the faculty driver, Jumari. Meanwhile, the former dean of Fapet, Prof. Ali Agus and another lecturer, Hanim, were in the second row and only suffered minor injuries. His car was badly damaged.
“Please pray for the best. We are still focused on repatriation,” he said.
