UBS Expects to Reach Agreement with Swiss Government to Cover $9.92 Billion in Losses for Credit Suisse Takeover

ZURICH, June 6 (Reuters) – UBS expects to reach an agreement with the Swiss government to cover up to 9 billion Swiss francs ($9.92 billion) in losses from its takeover of Credit Suisse by June 7, the Swiss bank said in a filing with the U.S. regulator on Tuesday. .

“UBS Group AG expects an indemnification agreement to be reached by June 7, 2023,” the filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said.
