Ubisoft removed post listing PS4 games not available on PS5

news/99405/Ubisoft_udalila_post_so_spiskom_igr_dlya_PS4_kotorye_nedostupny_na_PS5.html"> Yesterday Ubisoft released an article, which presented a list of 6 PS4 projects that will not be available on the PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility – among them were Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Star Trek: Bridge Crew. –

This contradicted the information Sony, which released a list of games incompatible with PS5 about a month ago – none of the projects mentioned by the publisher were there.

People were confused, and later Ubisoft deleted the publication, and also commented on the situation to some publications like Gematsu and IGN. –

«We have temporarily removed the backward compatibility information from the news portal and our forums, as it may contain inaccurate information about the availability of some Ubisoft games on the PlayStation 5».

However, the PlayStation Store has different information about the compatibility of PS4 games on PS5. Some report a simple need to update the operating system, while others, like the Syndicate, also report potential errors during playback.
