Uber driver arrested after shooting at customers

An Uber driver, 53, shot two passengers following an argument this Monday. The situation occurred in New Orleans, United States, according to CNN.

It all started when the passengers told Ahmad Ahmad that he was driving in the wrong direction, which started an argument between the driver and them. The passengers ended up choosing to get out of the vehicle and ask for another Uber, but Ahmad Ahmad did not leave. And even when the passengers were already in the other vehicle, the discussion between the three continued.

Ahmad and one of the passengers were involved in a physical fight and the driver of the passenger platform ended up going to his car to get a gun and shot at the customers.

The victims started to flee and managed to escape without injury. The man fled in his vehicle, but was eventually arrested by the authorities shortly after. The driver will be tried for aggravated assault and illegal possession of a weapon.
