UAV attack on Iran will teach “not to help Russia commit crimes” – Ignat

The night attack on military facilities in Iran is a consequence of Tehran’s foreign policy. Perhaps the incident will force the country’s leadership to reconsider their views on military assistance to the Russian Federation.

“What is happening in Iran can only be called the consequences of their policy. Perhaps they will direct their support to terrorist countries in a different way and not help Russia commit their crimes,” – About this on the air of the telethon on January 29 declared Yury Ignat, speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, it is known that Russia seeks to obtain from Iran weapons that the occupiers are in short supply – ballistic missiles, Shahed attack drones and other weapons.

In addition, the speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Iran has made enemies in the region, so the country’s government may decide to change its foreign policy vector.

“Iran has certain enemies in the region, so let’s hope that this country will change its political vector to a more civilized one,” Ignat concluded.

Recall that on the night of January 29, Iranian military facilities attacked by kamikaze drones. According to the Ministry of Defense of the country, several drones were shot down by air defense systems, but some drones reached their target and destroyed the roof at one of the defense enterprises.

According to journalists from The New York Times, representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps blamed Israel for the attack and promised to retaliate against Israeli oil ships. However, Iranian officials have not yet filed charges and said they are investigating the incidents.
