UAE Announces Revised Bus Fare System; Effective January 23rd

Abu Dhabi: Ajman Transport Authority has announced a major change to the current bus fare system in the country. Under the new system that will come into force on January 23, bus fares can be paid directly in cash or by Mazzarcard, just pay the same fare. The pricing system of all bus services will switch to the new system from 23 January. At the same time, the authorities have communicated that there will be no change in the fare system for buses operating in Dubai.

In the UAE, public bus fares are charged via Mazzarcard. The card can be topped up online. It can also be recharged directly from bus stations. Last day, the UAE government announced a 30% discount on bus fare for students who hold the Mazurcard. The UAE aims to encourage people to use the transportation system through the new system.

Please visit www to gov ae official website or visit Ajman Central Bus Station directly to apply for Mazar Card. Insert Emirati ID and other documents in the middle. Accept card after payment. Charge as needed. The price of a Masercard is 25 dirhams.
