The Faculty of Medicine of Torreón of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, summon the XX International Congress of Medicine ‘The new era of infectious diseases‘, which will take place from March 11 to 14, 2020 at the cultural center ‘Braulio Fernández’ in Ciudad Universitaria.
During the congress, and with the help of specialists, various topics related to infectious diseases that have generated pandemics will be discussed, and new technologies will be presented, epidemiologies, vaccines, immunology, supermicroorganisms and antibiotic resistance.
Regarding the thematic proposals, it was reported that the keynote lectures’ HIV / AIDS Current Perspective and Challenges’ will be held by Dr. Jesús Fidel Salazar González, ‘Serious clinical forms of arbovirosis’ by Dr. Eric Saúl Raga Sarabia,’ Susceptibility genetics in infectious diseases’ by Dr. Rafael Argüello Astorga, and ‘The new era of antimicrobial resistance’ taught by Dr. Germán Francisco Esparza Sánchez.
The conferences are also considered, ‘General approach to neuroinfection and autoimmune encephalitis’ under the coordination of Dr. José Luis Soto Hernández, ‘Have patterns of HIV resistance to antiretrovirals in Mexico changed?’ by Dr. Eduardo Vázquez Valls and, ‘Clinical approach to bacterial resistance’ by Dr. Luis Alfredo Ponce.
Registration costs before February 15 for students in the health area will be 550 pesos, residents of the health area 600 pesos, professionals in the area 700 pesos, and medical specialists 800 pesos.
For those who register after February 15 will cost 600 pesos for students in the area of health, 700 pesos for residents, 850 for professionals, and one thousand pesos for medical specialists.
