Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s U23 team drew 1-1 against defending champions Korea Republic in their second Group C match of the Asian Football Championship.U23 2022, Sunday June 5.
Despite conceding first, Vietnam battled for a point in a game with Korea Republic. The hero of Vietnam is Vu Tiên Long who equalized the score.

With this result, Vietnam is in second place with two points. After drawing against the toughest teams in Group C, Thailand and Korea Republic, Vietnam will face Malaysia on Wednesday, June 8, in a bid to score three points and advance to the second round.
The Asian Under-23 Football Championship takes place in Uzbekistan from June 1-19. Vietnam are in Group C, along with Korea Republic, Thailand and Malaysia. -VNA
