U.S. allocates new $820 million military aid package to Ukraine

The Pentagon has announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.

Pentagon confirmed the provision of another package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $820 million.

This was reported in Telegram Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.

“It will include, in particular: additional ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS; two NASAMS air defense systems; up to 150 thousand shells for 155 mm artillery. Thanks to the allies,” Yermak wrote.

Also, information about the allocation of the 14th package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $820 million was confirmed by Politico journalist Lee Hudson in Twitter.

As UNIAN reported, US President Joe Biden announces new $800 million aid package to Ukraine, which will include modern air defense systems. He added that Ukraine will also receive more HIMARS installations from other countries. Biden noted that the United States has already provided $7 billion in military assistance to Ukraine since he became president of the country and plans to continue support.
