A turtle fell from a height on Hennessy Road in Wan Chai twice this morning, and a man was arrested for animal cruelty.
The police received a report at 8:09 this morning that two turtles had fallen from a height outside of 353 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, and fell onto the road and pavement. According to the news at the scene, someone heard a snapping sound, and then found two turtles falling on the pavement and the road. During this period, a bus came and killed one of the turtles.

Staff from the Society for the Protection of Animals arrived at the scene and took away the surviving tortoise for inspection. The police went upstairs to search for the owner, and later arrested a man suspected of cruelty to animals.
