As reported, SPKC epidemiologists, during the investigation, found that two passengers, for whom Covid-19 was approved, were traveling by bus on the route Rēzekne-Daugavpils with the flight number 7479, at 11.17 am from the stop Aglona and Daugavpils-Priežmale with the flight number 5506 , 16:00 to the stop Aglona. According to the SPKC, both patients were not participants in the Aglona Festival.

In total, almost 20 people involved in these flights have contacted epidemiologists, but two have been identified as contact persons.

Self-occupants are currently in contact with the epidemiologist, but, as the SPKC reminds us, everyone on these buses should monitor their health, be in self-isolation and contact their GP for signs of acute respiratory infection.

According to the SPKC spokeswoman, no cases of Covid-19 infection were detected during the Aglona festival, but at the same time the fact that the symptoms of the new coronavirus usually appear only after several days should be taken into account.

It has already been reported that all passengers traveling on these flights should contact the SPKC epidemiologist on 67271738. If symptoms of the disease are observed, they should contact their GP and have an investigation on Covid-19.

If any of the participants in the Aglona Festival were traveling on these buses, they should go home and contact the SPKC epidemiologist by the above-mentioned phone number.

Everyone has the opportunity to take the state-paid Covid-19 test, even if there are no symptoms. It is mandatory to check in advance by calling 8303 on weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm and on Sundays from 9 am to 12 noon.
