Two new outbreaks in Malaga due to coronavirus raise infections to 142 | BE Malaga | Hour 14 Malaga

From new shoots in Malaga by coronavirus they raise to 142 infections according to the medical part of the SAS. Andalusia registers 19 active Covid-19 coronavirus outbreaks, twelve in the control phase and seven in the investigation phase, in the provinces of Granada, Málaga, Cádiz and Almería, with a total of 349 confirmed cases –-with 51 new positives in 24 hours– after adding three new outbreaks on this day, two in Malaga and one in Almería, as reported this Sunday by the Ministry of Health and Families.

The data update at 09.00 hours carried out by this department has registered three new outbreaks, one in Malaga capital with seven affected, another with five infected in the district Malaga-Guadalhorce -Area where another outbreak had already been detected previously-, and a third in the West of Almeria with five cases, an area that also has another outbreak.

In addition to the new outbreaks, on this day there are several that add new infections: the one detected previous days in the Malaga-Gualhorce district adds four new affected reaching 13 cases; 25 positives are added to the outbreak detected on Thursday in El Ejido (Almería), and that interrelates employees of a fruit and vegetable company from the same work center and shift, reaching 42 infected, and the outbreak linked to a wake held in Belicena reached 45 affected after registering five new positives.

MÁLAGA HAS 142 POSITIVES AND GRANADA 128

In total, of the 16 outbreaks, nine are located in the province of Granada, with a total of 128 positive cases, thus being the province with the most outbreaks, while Málaga, with six shoots, total 142 cases and it is the one with the most cases of Covid-19. The third most affected province is Almería, which with three outbreaks adds up to a total of 53 infected.

Andalusia does not add this Sunday any deceased by Covid-19 in a day in which it records two new hospitalized, with no new admissions to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and with a slight decrease in the number of cases confirmed by CRP with 47, after adding 62 on Saturday, the highest daily figure at least in June and July .

According to the Ministry of Health, Andalusian hospitals keep 40 admitted patients this Sunday, two less in 24 hours, of which eight are still in an ICU, the same since Thursday. Three Andalusian provinces, Malaga, Huelva and Jaén still do not register ICU admissions.
