In addition to the Galaxy A15 body design drawings circulating online yesterday, news also leaked about another entry-level Samsung mobile phone, the Galaxy A05 series. The latest news is that Samsung will launch two mobile phones for the Galaxy A05 series, namely the basic Galaxy A05 and the higher-end Galaxy A05s. The latter is finally equipped with the NFC function that consumers have long awaited.
A05s has NFC
The Galaxy A05s, whose design drawings were leaked last week, has a three-lens camera, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth lens; while the basic version of the Galaxy A05 only has a dual lens, but it is unknown whether the macro or depth lens has been eliminated. Compared with the Galaxy A04 launched in 2022, the Galaxy A05s provides NFC functionality, which means there is an opportunity to use Google Pay and Octopus, making it more flexible and convenient to use.
Expected to be published soon
According to Geekbench benchmark data, the Galaxy A05 and A05s are said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which will replace the previous generation Helio P35 and Exynos 850 respectively. It is said that the new phone will be equipped with 4GB RAM, which is slightly improved from the 3GB RAM of the previous generation. The preloaded system is Android 13 and One UI 5.x Core. Both phones will be equipped with a 6.6-inch 720 x 1,600 resolution screen, support dual SIM cards, microSD card expansion and a built-in 5,000mAh battery.
