Asked by France 3 Aquitaine on Thursday morning, the director of the ARS, Hélène Junqua, mentioned two new clusters of eight people each, or sixteen new positive cases in Eysines near Bordeaux. It also specifies “that a cluster is established from three positive cases in the same group”.
Other outbreaks of Covid-19 have been identified in recent weeks in the Chartrons district in Bordeaux and in the Grand-Parc. Screenings are continuing in these places as well as on the docks and at the airport. Out of 1,489 nasal swabs, eight are positive in Chartrons and three out of 992 in Grand-Parc according to a press release from the Regional Health Agency.

► Between 200 and 400 people tested every day at CHU Pellegrin
There is a long line of cars every day in front of the CHU Pellegrin de Bordeaux. Between 200 and 400 people come there every day to be tested by nasal swab (PCR).
I was in contact with my daughter who had COVID-19 so I come to make sure that I am not a carrier of the virus.
In total, of the 5,637 people tested in Bordeaux last week, 37 cases turned out to be positive.
